2. What We Collect

Important: Journex staff have no ability to read your trade data, journal entries, or psychology notes. Your data is protected by row-level database security — this means it is technically blocked at the database level, not just hidden. Only you can access your own data.
  • Email address — used only for login and account communications
  • Trade data — stored privately in your isolated account, never visible to Journex staff
  • Journal entries — private to you only, never read by anyone at Journex
  • Psychology notes — completely private, only sent to Claude AI when you actively click Analyse My Trading
  • Account sizes and settings — stored privately for your analytics only

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the Journex service
  • To generate your AI coaching analysis
  • To calculate your performance analytics
  • We never sell your data to third parties

4. AI Coach & Anthropic

  • When you use the AI Coach, your trade and journal data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API
  • Anthropic does not use API data for training their models
  • Data is not stored by Anthropic beyond completing your request

5. Data Security

  • Your data is stored in an encrypted Supabase database
  • Row-level security means it is technically impossible for any other user or Journex staff to access your data
  • All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS
  • Each user account is completely isolated

6. Data Storage

  • Data is stored on Supabase servers in the Sydney, Australia region
  • Backups are retained for 30 days

7. Your Rights

  • Export all your data anytime from Settings -> Download All My Data
  • Delete your account anytime from Settings -> Delete My Account
  • All your data is permanently deleted when you delete your account
  • To request manual data deletion email contact@journex.trade

9. Cookies

  • We use only essential session cookies required for login
  • No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third party analytics

10. Changes To This Policy

  • We will notify users of material changes via email
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
